First, Hello!

Congratulations for getting here!

I am the founder and Chief Clinical Director of Blossoming Lotus Therapy LCSW PLLC. I founded this practice to help BIPOC & Queer folx find a space to be seen and safe. I was born in Brooklyn, NY, but I call Queens, NY my home. I am a proud Queer Latina and mother of a teenage daughter. I work hard to empower my communities and help them heal from traumatic experiences caused by others.  I have co-authored in two books (Latinx in Social Work & Latinx en el area de Trabajo Social).  Currently, I serve as an Adjunct Professor for SUNY Old Westbury. I am also the NASW-NYC Chair of SOGIE Collective (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity & Expression) to assist social workers in providing equitable, LGBTQIA+ affirming services and resources to enhance their scope of practice.

I am a licensed Bilingual Spanish Speaking Psychotherapist who has over 10 years of social work experience in different capacities. My experiences range from working in a family homeless shelter, foster care settings, school settings, clinic settings and more.  My experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized service. 

My specialities include working with non-monogamous folx, LGBTQIA+ folx and Kink folx. I provide a client centered, direct approach. I provide support and guidance to individuals and families on their journey to self-healing. I provide surgery support letters to help you become your most authentic self. I create a safe space for you. I look forward to connecting with you.

I specialize in issues surrounding trauma (sexual trauma & childhood trauma), coming out as an LGBTQIA+ community member, and family conflict using a somatic-oriented approach.
