I'm so glad you're here, thank you for taking the first step toward your journey!
Hi, my name is Christina Wiese. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Master Social Worker dedicated to supporting adolescents, young adults, and families. My goal is to create a collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to build on your strengths.
My professional journey has given me the opportunity to work in diverse settings. At the Children’s Law Bureau in Suffolk County Family Court, I advocated for the rights and well-being of children involved in the legal system. At Northwell Hospital’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit, I guided patients and families through transitions of care, developing individualized discharge plans and connecting them with vital resources. Earlier in my career, I worked with adolescents and families in the PINS Diversion program at Hope for Youth, where I provided case management, skill-building, and advocacy. I also gained school-based experience at Robert M. Finley Middle School, where I offered counseling, peer mediation, and group support to students.
Across each of these roles, I have remained committed to walking alongside my clients as they navigate complex systems and life transitions. I draw on strength-based techniques, motivational interviewing, and client-centered care, always tailoring my approach to meet each person’s unique needs.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University and my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
