Jillian Martino, CAT-LP (She/They)

Hi I’m Jillian! My pronouns are she/they. I’m a Creative Art Therapist, Reiki Master, Past Life Regression Therapist, trained in EMDR and Parts work. I attended SUNY Old Westbury for my Bachelors Degree in Visual Arts and LIU Post for my Masters in Clinical Creative Art Therapy and Counseling. I interned at Nassau University Medical Center where I worked with inpatient youth & adult males. In addition, I have worked with various agencies where I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals moving through addiction and trauma, as well as children and those in the LGBTQAI+ community.

In my spare time, I love to teach and learn about all things spiritual. I am a flexible, caring and laid back person who is easily approachable. It is important for me to meet you where you are.  I want you to feel in control of your therapy. I love having the chance to witness and support my clients in their growth. I want the people who meet me to feel safe in being themselves, whatever that looks like for you. 

Growing up, I struggled with a difficult household. Being latina my family had many cultural standards that felt unreachable, which made me feel ashamed of who I was. It is important to me to support others through similar challenges. I want to give my clients a template to be able to communicate with their younger self and move through their traumas. It is my goal to help my clients feel empowered through our sessions and help them find a way to feel comfortable in who they are. 

I am passionate in supporting those who have felt lost in their lives and are dedicated to turning their painful past into the beautiful lotus it was always meant to be. I look forward to supporting you through this journey of healing. Let's connect!
